“Hugo Chávez and his Great Trans-Caribbean Gas Pipeline”

por Adriana Ramos   Again the President of Venezuela, holding on his left arm his Bolivarian Revolution,  visit yesterdays President Leonel Fernández  from Dominican Republic to offer a 10,000 barrel-a-day refinery, a project currently awaiting environmental analysis. His intention is to extend the Venezuela-to-Caribbean pipeline as an effort to revert $20 billion freeze by Brazil opposition to extend the gas pipeline trough the Amazon rain forest and complete his “Great Gas Pipeline of the South”. He claims Venezuela's restoration of the Cienfuegos refinery in Cuba will complete in November. CAMPAIGN GOALS

By Adriana Ramos It’s difficult for any candidate of a Presidency, as powerful as United States, to keep his/her original campaign goals. When being interviewed, many questions are presented to them regarding various issues.  Original goals suddenly are lost or diluted in dialogues and debates.  TV and newspaper reporters keep us inform of the various interviews, conferences or events that the candidates attend. They even report on the faults of each candidate and they highlight moments showing when the candidates are ill prepared to response to the barrage of questions being imposed on them. To Vote, a civic responsibility

Adriana Ramos Last week some of the Candidates for the presidency, as well as some Senator and Congressman, decide to confront the real public in “Your Tube” debate, call "Citizen Tube". Not only because the politicians have realized that this new Generation is completely tech-online, but because the statistics bring high ratings to their future voters, now each one of the candidates have their own "You Tube" propaganda media. Olvido

por Adriana Ramos Relaciones Internacionales Los pequeños placeres que una persona adquiere con los años, son difíciles de olvidar, como leer un buen libro, ir a ver las películas favoritas, tomar un buen vino, acompañar a un amigo en una tarde lluviosa. Este placer mío de escribir lo había dejado en el olvido ese compromiso que me hice a mi misma, de escribir, escribir, escribir. Sólo por el simple hecho podría tomarme menos de 30 minutos, unos pensamientos o unas cuantas letras, sin embargo nuestras obligaciones diarias nos apartan de esos placeres.
