Again the President of Venezuela, holding on his left arm his Bolivarian Revolution,  visit yesterdays President Leonel Fernández  from Dominican Republic to offer a 10,000 barrel-a-day refinery, a project currently awaiting environmental analysis. His intention is to extend the Venezuela-to-Caribbean pipeline as an effort to revert $20 billion freeze by Brazil opposition to extend the gas pipeline trough the Amazon rain forest and complete his “Great Gas Pipeline of the South”. He claims Venezuela’s restoration of the Cienfuegos refinery in Cuba will complete in November.
The plan is to fund a refinery in Ecuador allowing the South Americans nations to export refined products to China and other Asian destinations.
After finishing his conference in Dominica Republic, he said “In my next trip to Mexico I’ll be taking a sombrero y guitarra”. President Hugo Chávez last comment is a clear effort to improve his relations with the Mexico, so damage in the last years. President Hugo Chávez is extending his Bolivarian Revolution  with the help of a strong pipe line.
